it works well , for hornets and balloons
it works well, the laser 100watt is powerfull up to abaout 14 meter. with the focuslens. without up to 3,5 meter.mine had an short inside .the contacts from the main button shorted on the coolrib contacts where was not isolated .
all 3d printed nice done on some places there could be more plastic .
the model is more for injectionmolding plastic .
the small screws do not hold long ,because the laser get very hot about 55 celsius ,and turn off the holder infront focus is then to haevy and bend down 4mm .
you can fire better with short interfalls and about 10 per minute ,then you can play with it till battery is empty about 30 minutes.
the cooling could better , the cooltape used is not very heat transported, mayby the heat pipe from laser better solder on the copperplate with silversolder it will do .or cusi, someoff.
I have killed an lot off hornets the azian . there are two nest in the tree beside my house .with an scoop on, it works perfect and the hornets do not attack me , beware for the reflexions laser ,where the glasses !
